This sport has been a passion for my teenage and adult life. Now well settled into my fifties I’ve had the pleasure of travelling the world; meeting and watching my heroes fight – from Ali to Leonard, Tyson to Holyfield, Duran to Golovkin, through the ‘Great Brits’ of Bruno, McGuigan, Benn, Naz, Hatton & Calzaghe; and onto Froch.
On occasions I’ve been privileged to be ringside and others to share quality time with these legends. Now, I will try to take you on a journey and share some of those experiences, but also provide a platform for news, comment and specifically features on fighters and the boxing business.
